    Default Belmore yellow sanding discs

Is it just me or are the above titled discs not as good as the old yellow ones that Belmore used to supply?

The latest yellow discs just don't seem to last as long as the previous.

Depending which type of board your taping will determine how long your discs will last. I have found sanding any taping done on pink (fire boards) wear down the discs quickly also blue (sound block) . I tried some of the belmore discs both yellow & red , but still prefer the full circle discs, which I find last longer. Only my opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!

90% is sanding down on normal grey board, with the previous yellow discs I was finding I would use 2 discs on a 3 bed house (1 up 1 down) the new yellow discs I'm finding I am using 2 up and 2 down.

Wonder if you could both do me a small favour - on the back side of the disc (white side) would you mind checking to see if it has any writing on it apart from the grit number which will be P100 etc - we are trying to track down with the manufacturer if the correct paper has been supplied for these discs - this would be why pads are not lasting as long - thanks - marcus
