    Default What's the best 6" knife on market


    How's it going fellow jointers. What make of 6" knifes you guys using fancying a change from gyproc. Not keen on there new blue/black handle ones. I like a knife with decent flex in it any suggestions

    Use the gyproc ones myself, but just lately brought a s/s sheetrock one. Flexable enough from new but seems heavy compared to the gyproc ones. Used to use marshalltown but the last one was so thin, it actually bent on the corner after a month lol.

    I use Hyde carbon steel and Hyde stainless, I love my Hyde carbon 6 8 10 fantastic

    was Purdy but got sick of sanding the rust off it! It turned black then rusty first day but was light, maybe its the fast set that killed them but then dont think they were stainless bought a gyproc but not keen on it blue/black. Are Hyde good? Was eyeing them up on belmore =)
