Looking for other places to buy matrial
Evening all
I don't supply material very often but I am started to supply more and more on jobs. But my local place is over priced.
Just wondering if anyone knows of a good cheaper supplier?
I pay £22 a bag of wondertex ames and £14 a roll of flex.
Any Input would be grateful
cheers peeps

if ur looking for a proper drywall store for ur powder n mud then u only got choice of two really. walls n ceilings or belmore.. what to chose between them. belmore offer a better range of the latest tools and are always looking at new things and are fair price wise the freemans j c is well worth trying. they do seem a little under staffed with maybe too much landing on marcus shoulders leading to a few issues with reliabiliy.. walls and ceilings are much more on the ball in this regard seem to be a bigger outfit..their metal angle tape is the best and the arrow compound is well worth trying i prefer the freemans for units i do over two days with the arrow being better for the one day method. both shit all over wondertex the only thing to wonder is why they still make that shit.i would use both..i do. if belmore could get more reliable maybe a few more staff and better internal coms they really would take a lot of beating.

The constant plugging is considered spam surely.

On the subject of suppliers, i'd rather use local ones. So what if it's a bit dearer.

Why ? You what answers and I'm only answering them how come Mr Bellmore isn't questioned then.
You all need to use your independent merchants else the big boys will end up dictating your prices up and up,
There's not many drywall specialist left so use them and stop going on about spam!!

Because you aren't contributing anything useful. Just phone numbers and website links. Mr Belmore is usually providing information on the products he sells, not just posting links to his website.
I'm sure you too can be an asset to the forum, but just plugging walls and ceilings isn't the way.
I've bought tools from W&C in the past and can only say good things about the service and quick delivery.

@thomas.savage you're totally spot on mate! Need more staff and our response time can be shocking at times! If we can crack this then the hard work we have put in on offering some of the beat tools and materials in Europe should start to work better for you guys!
If anyone out there knows someone with at least half a brain cell that wants a job in Norfolk please get in touch, must have over 200 cv's on my desk not a single one sparks any interest! No wonder we have an employment problem in this country!
Ps love nothing better than a bit of tapping! Usually on a drum or a ladies behind! Lol 😂Last edited by belmoreboy; 24-11-2014 at 08:55 AM.

Would take you on Tomorrow Richie - problem is can't afford the £100k you turnover in a year hahaha
And you would drink all my beer!
Seriously though,it's such a tricky trade to find anyone half decent to understand the tools and materials we sell quick enough.
Best staff we have all been "stumbled" upon or people we know in totally unconnected businesses - strange business we are in !The Uk's No 1 Drylining & Plastering Tool Store
