    Hi everyone, I am looking at purchasing a new Makita drill, what is the best out at the minute?

    For what? Their impact drivers are pretty good & light. Their collated battery screwgun is utter garbage. Their mixing drills are passable. The best thin they make is the radio. That's the only bit of Makita kit I have.

    Tony your so funny and so right. I love my radio but it dont charge batteries.

    The radio has outlasted 2 chargers and 3 batteries too
