Default Corner bead tape or solid metal bead on corners?

Hi, New to the trade and got a question re external corners. Can I use solid metal bead for new builds, or do they prefer corner bead tape to be used? Thanks for any advice. Cheers.

I think that depends on what rate your being paid, and what the specs say?
Other than that I think its down to you.

Thanks for that, Brian. Just thinking that the metal bead will be easier for me.

I'm living in Maidstone but originally from the Isle of Man!

Might get to open the box shortly, the day it arrived, I was "invited" to a stay in hospital, well more like, this is the results of the test this morning, go to the ward, do not pass go, came out yesterday, now got 8 weeks off work
Bonus is I needed to lose a bit of weight, 1 1/2 stone should do the trick
