Unhappy menzer vario lhs 225 + hoover

just unpacked a menzer vario first look it seems very flimsy. straight out the box front two casters broken then took 1 hour too put together with the hoover. then you have to unpick the end of the hoover hose to attach the hovering up nozzle im going to try and sand a work tomorrow so will post back

thought I give it another go today it seems like doesn't matter how much force you put on it doesn't sand it just polishes the wall ive tried 120 grit 100 and 80 now. the head just retracts back in to the cowel I swear i'm going to chuck it out the third storey window into the skip what bugs me is I could have given it to a charity at least some good would have come from that. do they all do that or is this pile of doggy do

trim the skirt or raise the backing pad by putting sanding discs under it..

The skirt has to be sprung or it's a shit. That was the problem with the old flex sanders.. Even the new ones are not sprung enough imo. Festool wins here, again.
