From the Pacific Northwest - USA
Hello gentlemen,
We're starting a new company that will be offering 18 brand new patentable tools for the drywall, plastering and EIFS contractor. They range in price from around $15.00 USD to several thousand for our larger machines. What I'm up to is wanting to learn more about how guys "in your neighborhood(s)" work, with what sort of tools you prefer, where you purchase and so forth. I will not be "selling" anything but rather asking questions from time to time.
I've already agreed to send a new fiberglass taper to one of your subscribers for his review. I'll also send him a new mixing paddle I designed. These are of course at no charge to him. Our website will be up shortly and until then you can see what we are doing at: http://74.86.189.137/ There is no place to buy anything yet so this isn't a sales thing...just want to be honest about who I am.
Thank you for your time and for allowing me to be a part of your group.
Rick

Hi Rick,
Am I correct in thinking there was a referral from Tony? I'm looking forward to hearing more about your new tools and finally seeing some patents for the original battery powered ames taping tool you uploaded were appreciated as we had been seeking these for some time.
Enjoy the forum, I hope you find it useful.Your messages are really important to us

I've been talking to Tony for a while. I found your site when I ran across an article you wrote about the early days of Robert and Stan (Ames). I'm such a geek about the history of drywall tools and have never met anyone with a similar interest...so I just had to find out who you were...and there was your site !!!

You mentioned the history page on my work site? That information I added was so hard to find, it was like an archaeological dig that took forever. This website used to be a part of that one but I had to seperate the 2 as it become evident that this would outgrow its old host in a matter of months. God bless the internet.
PS. I'm really not that interesting - glad you like the site though.Your messages are really important to us
