We have had snow on the ground here since December 23rd but temps today have been around 5 degrees, and we have a serious thaw underway near the sea to the east of Edinburgh. If the temperature plummets again tonight it wont be pretty in the morning because of ice, but if it keeps melting there will be flooding to contend with.
Fun and games indeed. I may just have a long lie in tomorrow and go to work after everyone else has cleared the way during the rush hour chaos.Your messages are really important to us

I'm going to go in tomorrow no matter what the temperature is, unless the van gets stuck on the way. The builders are desperate for me to finish so the painters and sparks can get on. So when the water in the mud freezes on the wall, there won't be any comebacks.
