GTEC Allset Xtra (Previously Easy Finish), easi fill, bonding or filler...
having started 13 years ago coating up with knauf bonding with a little joint cement thrown in to seeing the light of filler i recently tried another upgrade to easi fill. i found topping off was greatly easier but the product is exspensive! have any of you tried GTEC Allset Xtra (Previously Easy Finish)? its a fine line but i have found spending a little more can pay dividend... what do you all think? getting fed up with metal angle tape too...
if its not rusting its bannana fied!

the gtec is nice stuff, and the trade cement is nice to what flex you using using gtec fex as well with no problems.
Cant believe your slowing down and spending time on it think of the money

Had a merchant call me today saying he had been approached by Lafarge to stock G-Tec, and would I use it if he did. Got a resounding no from me. Too many gummy bits and it doesn't blend well. They can keep it. Why not try Straitflex corner tape, it's only about £12 a box and not metal.

I was using Easifill up until recently, but at £9 something a bag it was getting expensive so i'm using USG Easysand at the moment. It's a slightly smaller bag and about £6, but it's lightweight again like the Easifill and the Lafarge equivalent, so goes a bit further than fast set/joint filler. Used the Lafarge drywall sealer this week and that was ok and only £18 a tub.
