How do you decide
.. which contracts to take on and what ones do you knock back?
Your messages are really important to us
...but not important enough to employ a sufficient number of support staff to answer them.

The main consideration is the metre rate, and whether I trust the company wanting my services. If i've not worked for them before, i'll find someone that has and see what they are like. Accessibility and parking is also a consideration of mine. I recently knocked back 18 flats as you had to carry all your gear up 4 flights of stairs, park miles away, and there wasn't even power & water on the level you were working. All that as well as only £2 a metre, crap boarding and 4m ceiling height in the lounge.

I tend to price 90% of work for 2 main commercial contractors @ the same price per Msq. Who pay within 14 days, of Invoice.
The other 10% is from non trade customers but have been veetoed by a trade contact
Any one else normally gets passed to a subbie as a private jobMilk No Sugar.
