    Default plaster setting too fast


    any tips on how to slow down the setting time on board finish please

    why would you want to slow down the set? all depends on what you are skimming over,normally you want it to set quick so you can go home.

    2/3 coats of PVA befor skimming will help

    use clean water and clean buckets too tartar sauce in the mix i used board finish on a reskim last week not used it in a long time
    pain in my arse waiting for it too pick up so i can trowel it think ill stick to muilti and mp75 now
    same trick with bonding put in 2/3 hand falls of cement in when your wisking it get it on quick time trowel it off 30mins latter you can start skimming
    tend to use it when the sparkys are in a strop filling in the wires
